At JoyfulThreads, every item is handcrafted and personalized by our artisans. Because products are made-to-order and uniquely customized, we follow a careful production and delivery process. Please read below — it helps us deliver beautiful, accurate gifts and resolve issues quickly when they occur.
Order processing & dispatch
Most retail orders take 7–10 business days to process (production + quality checks) before dispatch. Bulk, corporate, or highly customized orders will require more time; we’ll confirm timelines when you place the order.
If you need faster delivery, contact us before ordering — we may be able to accommodate rush orders for an additional fee depending on artisan availability.
Shipping & delivery
We ship Pan-India via trusted courier partners. Typical delivery attempts occur 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Saturday (excluding national holidays).
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout (transparent before payment). Bulk orders may qualify for discounted or free shipping depending on size and destination.
After dispatch you will receive tracking details. Please check them and update us if you see a problem.
Address accuracy & delivery responsibility
Ensure your shipping address, pin code, and phone number are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect information.
Delivery may require OTP or signature. If someone else at the delivery address accepts the parcel, the order is considered delivered.
JoyfulThreads is not liable for delays caused by courier disruptions, weather, strikes, force majeure, or local restrictions. We’ll keep you informed if such events affect your order.
Missed deliveries & returns to sender
Couriers usually attempt delivery up to three times. If the parcel is returned to us, customers are responsible for reshipping charges to resend the order.
For remote or non-serviceable pin codes, our team will contact you with alternatives or refund options if delivery cannot be completed.
Damages, shortages & claims (important)
Every order is quality-checked and securely packed. If your package arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:
Take clear photos of the outer package, inner contents, and the damaged/short item immediately on receipt.
Note visible damage on the courier’s delivery receipt (POD) if possible.
Report the issue to us via email or the Contact page within 12 hours of delivery.
We will acknowledge your claim within 48 hours, assess the case, and propose a solution—this may include replacement, repair, store credit, or refund (determined case-by-case).
We cannot accept liability for damage reported after the parcel has been accepted and opened without proof at delivery.
Returns, refunds & cancellations
Because items are personalized and handcrafted, all sales are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind, style preference, or minor natural variations (color, grain, embroidery, stone or dye variations). These are intrinsic to handmade goods.
Bulk/corporate orders are non-returnable due to advanced customization and production commitments. Please confirm samples, sizes, personalization, and timelines carefully before final approval.
Cancellations are possible only if requested before production begins; contact us immediately. If production has started, cancellations may not be accepted; any refund or adjustment will be at JoyfulThreads’ discretion and may incur deductions for work already completed.
Special cases & urgent help
For urgent timelines, special handling, or pre-order pin code verification, contact our support team before placing your order. We’ll advise feasibility and extra charges, if any.
If you’re ordering as a corporate client or gifting at scale, we recommend confirming a sample and production schedule in writing.
